Bio
ABOUT CHRIS
As a young boy growing up in the suburbs of Chicago, Chris Capcik discovered house music and was bitten by the DJ bug at the age of 14. With an unbridled passion for music, Chris started collecting records and playing at house parties and local gigs for friends and family.
This early introduction to DJ-ing led Chris to take his dream to the next level. At the age of 19, he moved to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and began working with one of South Florida’s largest entertainment companies. This experience helped Chris sharpen his skills, gain valuable knowledge, and evolve into the DJ he is today.
After honing his craft in Florida, Chris returned to Illinois at the age of 22 where he began working for a well-respected, local entertainment company, providing music for weddings, corporate events, bars, and nightclubs.
After three years of working in this capacity, Chris decided to branch out on his own, never looking back except to reflect on the amazing experiences and education he received from working with talented individuals and companies. To date, Chris has done over 500 weddings and well over 1,000 events in total.
Chris strives to always be learning, growing and evolving as a DJ, staying up-to-date with the latest trends and music.
